Have you ever been in this position? Its 8:00 PM, a cold 39 degrees outside and you're just getting home from work. You walk into the house and it hits you. It's not much warmer in the house then outside. This is what I walked into 2 weeks ago.

I checked my thermostat and it read 48 degrees but the thermostat was set for 68. I went to my heating unit, turned the service switch off then on. The blower turned on, the gas kicked on but no fire, no heat.

I first met Bob Stone of AccuAir Heating and Cooling a couple of years ago at a networking meeting.

Everyone who knew Bob spoke very highly of him and often expounded on the latest disaster that Bob got them out of, often by working late evenings, early mornings, or weekends to do so.

The heating and cooling company we had been using would call to remind us that is was time for a preventative service and let us know when the contract was due to be renewed. For unknown reasons this stopped suddenly forcing us to keep track of when things were due.

After missing the second service time, we had had enough and thinking of Bob and gave him a call. He came over, discussed our setup and needs and quoted a maintenance price that was half of what we had been paying. Our electronic air filters use a special filter that he picks up and installs when he does our service. Even with the added charge of the filters, AccuAir's service is still less expensive than our previous vendor who included the filter in with the service price. Bob even made a suggestion about the use of the fan in the summertime and just turning it off, made a huge difference in the way the house feels during these hot, humid days.

We will continue to use AccuAir Heating and Cooling as our vendor and we highly recommend Bob and AccuAir to anyone looking for someone to divert their heating and cooling disaster in the making.
